2026-27 WYSA Indoor Soccer Season Information!

WYSA 2026-27 INDOOR SOCCER SEASON INFORMATION

PLAYER REGISTRATION PROCESS:
Registration for the 2026-27 Indoor Season will take place through our Member Organizations. A player can register at any Member Organization within the city and surrounding areas. To find out which Member Organization is closest to you, please click here!

Registration is already open at several Member Organizations across the city of Winnipeg, and surrounding areas, however, please contact them directly for more details regarding dates, fees, etc. 

Deadlines & Timeline:

• Saturday, October 31^st, 2026: Indoor Season Start Date!
• Sunday, December 20^th, 2026: Last day of League Play before the Holiday Break.
• Thursday, January 7^th, 2027: First day of League Play after the Holiday Break.
• February 11^th to 15^th, 2027: 2027 Golden Boy Tournament.
• March 13^th & 14^th, 2027: Last weekend of League Play with the WYSA Challenge Cup Finals taking place here as well.

Competition Information:

• All U8-U9 Grassroots groups should expect to receive 16 sessions throughout the indoor season, with a season ending Jamboree happening on March 14th, 2027.
• All U10 Grassroots teams should expect to receive a total 16 matches throughout the indoor season, with a season ending Jamboree happening on March 14th, 2027.
• U11 to U12 teams should expect to receive 18 total matches if the season runs without interruption.
• U13 to U18 teams should expect to receive 18 total matches if the season runs without interruption and will compete for the League and WYSA Challenge Cup titles.
• Matches will take place at the WSF North Facility (770 Leila Avenue), WSF South Facility (211 Chancellor Matheson Road), the University of Winnipeg RecPlex (400 Spence Street), and the Seven Oaks Soccer Plex (725 Kingsbury Ave).
• Please note that this information is subject to change. Should any information change, we will communicate it as soon as possible. 

Days of play for the 2026/27 Indoor Season

• For the Grassroots divisions, U8 Boys & Girls will play on Saturdays, U9 Boys & Girls will play on Saturdays, U10 Girls will play on Saturdays, and U10 Boys will play on Sundays.
• Our days of play are Thursdays (Typically older boys & girls divisions), Saturdays (typically girls divisions), Sundays (typically boys divisions).
• We expect that some of the younger Boys divisions will have higher registration numbers and that our facility time on Sundays will not be enough to accommodate a Sundays-only schedule. Therefore, matches will be scheduled on Saturdays only as required to ensure that teams are scheduled their full allotment of matches.
