Winnipeg Phoenix Football Club - Executive Director, Soccer Operations

Winnipeg Phoenix Football Club (WPFC) is seeking an experienced and motivated leader to serve as its Executive Director, Soccer Operations.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, this position will oversee the Club’s soccer programming, daily operations, financial management, staff development, and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee technical programming, coaching development, and player pathways.

• Manage daily Club operations, administration, and staff.

• Develop and oversee budgets, strategic plans, and organizational policies.

• Build relationships with players, families, coaches, sponsors, and community partners.

• Ensure programming aligns with Canada Soccer and Manitoba Soccer Association standards.

Qualifications:

• Canada Soccer B / Concacaf B Diploma or higher (required).

• Experience managing competitive youth soccer programs.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Experience in budgeting, administration, and operational planning.

• Knowledge of youth player development and coaching pathways.

• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Canada Soccer Children’s Diploma.

• Post-secondary education in sport management, business, or a related field.

• Experience in senior management, fundraising, sponsorships, or partnership development.
