The Manitoba Soccer Association has recently introduced a social media policy for all participants of the sport of soccer! The policy can be summarized in four basic principles:
1. Be truthful, respectful, polite, and fair
2. Do not say things that you would not want said of you
3. Use social media only when appropriate
4. Keep appropriate and common sense barriers between participants, such as between coaches or team staff and players
